Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s, The Recovering Catholic Girls were raised Catholic on the grittier side of the San Francisco Bay. They first met in 2006 and immediately bonded over a stressful job, apple martinis and an onslaught of “growing up Catholic” horror stories. Creating a website about and for recovering Catholic girls (and for those who love them) seemed a natural for them….so they did just that.
Over the next couple of years, the duo went through job losses, gains, cross country moves, family drama, babies and all those wonderful life-changing events that RCGs can handle in total style and grace (sorta). And through it all, they managed to create a website for RCGs to enjoy.
